PRODUCT AREAS

There are 4 main product areas within the show. We prefer to allocate you a stand in the product area that is most suitable for your products, as buyers are more likely to find you. These product areas are clearly defined on the floorplan and in the Preview Guide and Exhibitor Directory given out to all buyers visiting the show. The Product areas are:

• Clothing and Textiles
• Jewellery and Fashion Accessories
• Home and Giftware
• Speciality Food and Drink

In addition to the main product areas, we also have two Special Feature Areas:

Showcase Scotland  

This area is at the heart of the show. It occupies the central block of stands in the hall to create a focus for buyers of approximately 250 of the very best Scottish companies. The area boasts some of the most internationally recognised Scottish brand names and acts as a magnet for both UK and international buyers seeking both established Scottish brands and exciting new names, such as: Johnstons of Elgin, Lochcarron of Scotland, Calzeat, Ness, Ortak, Scottish Fine Soaps, Tartan Spirit, Caithness Glass, Charles Buyers, Arran Aromatics, Castle Melamine, Scott Inness etc
The Showcase has been designed to link with the existing product aisles, making it easier for buyers to locate where the companies in the different product sectors will be.
 

The Launch Gallery

 The Launch Gallery comprises approximately 30 stands located together in the middle of the show. The aim of the gallery is to provide young start up and emerging companies with strong ideas with a suitable platform to present their products to the market. In addition it provides retailers with an easy and simple way of discovering who the stars of the future might be. Companies must be selected to exhibit in The Launch Gallery and must have innovative design-led products with strong commercial appeal.The Gallery is subsidised by the show to lower the barriers to entry for young companies and create an affordable sales and marketing opportunity for them.
 

The Gallery is the only area of the show to utilise the “Modul Classic” shell scheme stand fitting system which emphasises its position in the show and offers exhibitors greater flexibility in creating a really striking display for their products.
