Fresh inspiration for the season ahead

For over 30 years Scotland’s Trade Fairs have been the primary market place for retail buyers and suppliers to meet and conduct business. Scotland’s Trade Fairs is the umbrella title for two fairs serving the gift marketplace; Scotland's Trade Fair Autumn, which returns to the SECC in Glasgow in September 2010 having been successfully relaunched in Stirling last year, and Scotland's Trade Fair Spring, taking place at the SECC in Glasgow from 23-25 January, 2011. 

Scotland's Trade Fair Spring offers the very best selection of quality giftware ranging from design-led products to volume gift collections from over 500 Scottish, UK and continental ranges. The Spring show runs in conjunction with Scotland's Speciality Food Show and provides a comprehensive buying opportunity for gift and food retail outlets for the season ahead. Products on show at Scotland's Trade Fair Spring include clothing and textiles, jewellery and fashion accessories, home and giftware, china and glass, cards and stationery, body and bath from a wide variety of established and brand new companies, as well as fine food and drink at the Speciality Food Show.

Scotland's Trade Fair Spring has become a firm fixture in the trade show calendar with buyers and retailers from all over the UK keen to source new products, stock up on existing lines and find inspiration for the year ahead.  Some 5000 buyers from department stores, multiples, mail-order and online, tourist attractions and independent retailers will visit the Show over the three days.  Located at the Scottish Exhibition Centre (SECC) in Glasgow, Scotland's primary exhibition hall, the show is well situated for Glasgow's air, train and road links as well as the supporting hotel and restaurant infrastructure.

Scotland's Trade Fairs are managed by Springboard Events Ltd on behalf of Clarion Events Ltd. In addition to Scotland's Trade Fairs, Clarion Retail own leading retail shows such as Top Drawer, Home + Gift, Pulse and The London Gift Fair.

Showcase Scotland occupies the centre of the show and  is a platform for buyers to view the widest and best variety of products from over 250 Scottish suppliers.

At the heart of the show is the Launch Gallery, an area specifically for start-ups and emerging companies. It provides buyers with an easy focus to find who is new, in one central location. Companies are chosen for their original ideas, commercial appeal and the strong design of their products.
