Frequently Asked questions
Who will I see at Scotland’s Trade Fair 2012?
You will see 500 quality, Scottish, UK and international exhibitors. Exhibitors are zoned in order to help your buying. Zones at the show include Clothing and Textiles, Jewellery and Fashion Accessories, Home and Gift and Speciality Food and Drink. Running front to back, through the horizontal product sectors, the Showcase Scotland is for companies based in Scotland. In the middle of the show is the Launch Gallery for new and emerging young companies.
Can anyone visit Scotland’s Trade Fair?
STF is a trade only show, which means that you need to be able to prove you are a part of the retail trade. Exhibitors have a 'minimum order' policy and will not sell to members of the public.
Do I need to provide proof of trade?
Spot checks for proof of trade will be in operation. You should have proof of trade on you - which can include a business card or a company cheque book.

If you choose to bring a young child with you to Scotland’s Trade Fair you must be responsible for the child and be aware that we have no crèche facilities. We do not promote STF as a suitable environment for children.
Where can I park?
There are over 2000 car parking spaces at the SECC. There is a £6 charge for parking on-site. There are trains and taxis from Central Glasgow as well (please see Planning your Visit in the Visiting section) .
Can I obtain a visa to travel to the show?
The organisers of STF regret that they are not able to send out letters of invitation for visitors from overseas in order to help them secure visas. If your business is relevant to STF you will be able to prove this to the British Embassy in your country by providing proof of your employment and the nature of your employer’s business. Please DO NOT contact the organisers as all requests for letters of invitation will be denied.
