Frequently Asked questions

Who will I see at Scotland’s Trade Fair 2010?

You will see 120 quality, Scottish and UK exhibitors. Product areas include Clothing and Textiles, Jewellery and Fashion Accessories, Home and Giftwares.

Can anyone visit Scotland’s Trade Fair?

STF is a trade only show, which means that you need to be able to prove you are a part of the retail trade. Exhibitors have a 'minimum order' policy and will not sell to members of the public.

Do I need to provide proof of trade?

Spot checks for proof of trade will be in operation. You should have proof of trade on you - which can include a business card or a company cheque book.

How do I register?

There are three ways that you can register for this show.  1) Register online using the "Register Now" button in the top left corner of the page.  2) Register on arrival at the Show (there is no entry charge).  3) If you have visited the show previously, you will automatically be sent an entry badge, approximately two weeks prior to the start of this year's Show.

How can I register my colleague?

You can register them on the "Register Now" section of the website, by clicking the "Register a Colleague link".

How much does it cost to visit Scotland’s Trade Fair 2010?

It is free to attend the show (visit the register section of the site)

When do I get my badge?

If you have registered on-line, you will receive your badge in the post approximately 2 weeks before the show.

Can I bring my young child with me?

If you choose to bring your young child with you to Scotland’s Trade Fair, you must be responsible for the child, and be aware that we have no crèche facilities. We do however not promote STF as an environment for children.

Where can I park?

There is ample car parking available on-site for a daily rate charged by the SECC.

Can I obtain a visa to travel to the show?

The organisers of STF regret that they are not able to send out letters of invitation for visitors from overseas in order to help them secure visas. If your business is relevant to STF you will be able to prove this to the British Embassy in your country by providing proof of your employment and the nature of your employer’s business. Please DO NOT contact the organisers as all requests for letters of invitation will be denied.
