You will see in the region of 150 quality, Scottish, UK and international exhibitors. Product sectors include Clothing and Textiles, Jewellery and Fashion Accessories, Stationery, Home Accessories and General giftware.
Can anyone visit Scotland’s Trade Fair?
STF is a trade only show, which means that you need to be able to prove you are a part of the retail trade. Exhibitors have a 'minimum order' policy and will not sell to members of the public. Visitors come to the show to place orders, no products are sold there.
Do I need to provide proof of trade?
Spot checks for proof of trade will be in operation. You should have proof of trade on you - which can include a business card or a company cheque book.
How do I register?
You will be able to register on the website from June 2013.
How can I register my colleague?
You will be able to register them on the registration page of the website, by clicking the 'Register a Colleague' link.
How much does it cost to visit Scotland’s Trade Fair 2013?
Entry to the show is free. You will however need a badge, this will be sent to you after you register.
When do I get my badge?
When you register for the show you will automatically be sent a link to a voucher. Print this off and bring it along and pop it under one of the scanners and your badge will be printed in a jiffy. It is no problem if you forget your voucher, just ask one of the staff to look up your booking and they can print one out in an instant.
Can I bring my young child with me?
If you choose to bring a young child with you to Scotland’s Trade Fair you must be responsible for the child and be aware that we have no crèche facilities. We do not promote STF as a suitable environment for children.
Where can I park?
There are over 2000 car parking spaces at the SECC. There is a £6 charge for parking on-site. There are trains and taxis from Central Glasgow as well (please see Planning your Visit in the Visiting section) .
Can I obtain a visa to travel to the show?
The organisers of STF regret that they are not able to send out letters of invitation for visitors from overseas in order to help them secure visas. If your business is relevant to STF you will be able to prove this to the British Embassy in your country by providing proof of your employment and the nature of your employer’s business. Please DO NOT contact the organisers as all requests for letters of invitation will be denied.
