SCOTLAND'S TRADE FAIR SPRING 2013 –

JUST SOME OF OUR BUYER QUOTES

Glasgow Museums (Annette Potts)
There is an excellent range of products and the quality is always improving.  This is a very important show for Glasgow Museums.  There was so much to see that I ran out of time.

Visit Scotland (Lorraine Connor )
Scotland's Trade Fair is a crucial one for us. It requires all our buying resource to achieve everything over the 3 days. The last two shows have been very good for us.

Green Gallery (Becky Walker)
There is a very optimistic feel to the show this year with exhibitors adopting the “lets get creative/positive and carry on” approach rather than “keep calm & carry on”. There were lots of new products and some good new companies for the Launch Gallery, as well as existing companies with new products

St. Columba Experience (Mr Kenneth Welch)
This is a very good show for us we have been coming for years. Each year there are some new stands that I have not seen before.

Britgrocer.com (Mrs Carol Williams)
This the best show I have seen in many years.  There is a good layout and a good mix of new companies.  I have found some new lines that I have ordered from.  Highly improved

Strands, Dumfries (Peter & Jan Hansen)
We always find something new at STF.  We like the original Scottish products here.  This is a good show and a good size.

The Autumn show is great for stocking up prior to Christmas

Lush (Ms Elizabeth Brown) – based in Morpeth
I really like the size of this show compared to Birmingham which is too big for me now.

World of Scotland (Peter Broekhuijsen, Holland)
This was a good, well laid out show this year.  It was good to see plenty of new companies.  We come every year and we always need the three days to visit all the exhibitors.

 Loch Fyne Gallery (Steve Bleasby)
There was good quality of products both at entry level and from established companies.

Old Mill Gift Shop, Ruby Red & Driftwood (Wendy Ross)
This is a great show for me, it is always useful and for me cuts out a day at Birmingham.  It is consistently good for jewellery and fashion accessories in particular.

Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo (Dan Withall)
Lots of interesting collaborative stands and young craft exhibitors. The show is well laid out with a good selection of exhibitors from both Scotland and the rest of the UK. The integral Food Show works well for us.

...And from 2010...

Kingswood Hotel, Burntisland, Fife – best show it’s been for ages. Really interesting stands with very interesting products. Usually race down aisles but didnt do that this year

Green Gallery, Stirlingshire – Lots of great stands and staggered by so many interesting products. Good layout.

Juniper, Aberdeen – good Show with great exhibitors.

National Trust – Michelle Costigan – not enough time in the 2 days I was there as there were so many good stands

Woodlane, Doune (Cheryl Sivewright) – better than Top Drawer! Very good stands and especially good on the fashion side. Interesting products and much better than before, Great that such good things being produced in Scotland

Loch Fyne Gallery – better than last year. Good quality and diversity of products. Good new ideas and great buzz and optimism. Very well organised
